Shokpeka, Ogun NYSC State Coordinator Bags Fellowship Award

The Ogun State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs Winifred Ngozi Shokpeka has been bestowed Wednesday bestowed the Fellowship of the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management.
The investiture as a Fellow of the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management was held at Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State.
Mrs Winifred Ngozi Shokpeka is an indigène of Asaba in Delta State who attended Idedu Amokwe Primary School in Udi Local Government Area and proceeded to Girls Secondary School, Nkwo both in Enugu State.
She completed her Secondary education at Anglican Girls Secondary School, Asaba having had to change Schools following her father’s transfer from Udi, Enugu State to Jos Plateau State.
She graduated in 1992 with B.Ed in English and Literature from the prestigious University of Benin. Served in the Corps Welfare and Health Department of the NYSC NDHQ, Abuja and was retained upon completion of her National Service in 1993.
Her managerial skills have been put to test proven having worked in various capacities with the NYSC in Kaduna in 1996, Niger in 2004, Lagos in 2005, Osun in 2013, and Lagos in 2015.
Due to her excellent performance, Mrs Shokpeka also served in the Corps Welfare and Health Services Department at the National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja as Deputy Director of Discipline and Merit. She proved her mettle as she executed a major national assignment; the hosting of the Honours Awards Selection Committee Meeting for the President’s NYSC Honours Award for 2019 Batches A, B & C.
Her commitment, dedication and loyalty have earned her several awards and commendations such as Best Inspector Award twice in Kaduna State, Letters of Commendation from two Directors General, Brig. Gen. Olawunmi and Brig. Gen. Kazaure for excellent conduct of Orientation Courses in Osun and Lagos respectively as Camp Director.
She also clinched the Outstanding Performance Award from the Lagos State Coordinator, Mr Eddy Megwa and a Letter of Commendation as well.
