Professional Practice

This course combines academic studies with approved professional practice experience/or research. It develops student’s awareness of professional practice, and enhances new interpersonal and communication skills, leading to students becoming more competent professionals in their field.
The course cuts across such areas as: ethical practice; the nature and operation of practices; legal requirements; cash flow and profitability; running a business; required professional memberships and registration; risk and professional liability; and personal career planning.
It will also develop the student’s knowledge and professional corporate skills in key areas such as: business research, decision making, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution, economics for managers, organizational behavior, organizational strategy and leadership, fundamentals of management, etc.
