THE IBAKM® GLOBAL JOURNEY

The Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) with the approved and registered trademarks of Chartered Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (CIBAKM®) and Association of Business Administration and Knowledge Management Professionals (ABAKMP®) was conceptualized and founded in 2012 by a Nigerian-born, Amb. Dr. Monday Anyairo, FIBAKM, FCBA, FCKM, CBAP®, CKMP®, President & CEO of Moanglobal Professionals Group, with the aim of championing and promoting the cause of a global professional body for the advancement of the Business Administration and Knowledge Management disciplines, practices and professions in Nigeria and globally. Moanglobal Professionals Group has decades of experience in conducting world-class top-notch professional education and training as well as in offering strategic and innovative technological and professional services in diverse sectors and industries with over 10 decades of professional team cumulative consulting experience.  The Group maintains strategic partnership with Amplios Consultants Pte Ltd, a global network of independent consulting organizations working together to provide first class services to clients in APAC, Middle East, Africa, North America and Europe as well as collaborates with Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB), a global provider of training, examination, audit and certification services, to offer certification for persons, management systems and products on a wide range of international standards and a host of other world-class organizations and institutions across the globe.

The process of registration and strategic development of the Institute commenced in 2013 and on the 18th of January, 2019, the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria through its Evaluation and Accreditation Division, Education Support Services Department gave its final approval of no objection via a letter with reference number FME/ESS/E&A/ANPB/IIIT/397.

The Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) was fully licenced as a professional body on the 18th of September, 2019 by the Federal Government of Nigeria with the approval and consent of the Federal Ministry of Justice and the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation in line with the provisions of the Companies and Allied Maters Act 1990, CAP C20, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 (CAM Act 1990 CAP C20 LFN 2004) through the Corporate Affairs Commission with RC 1615269.

On the 16th of September, 2021, the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) secured the approval and registration of the Chartered Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (CIBAKM®), Association of Business Administration and Knowledge Management Professionals (ABAKMP®) and Women in Business Administration and Knowledge Management (WiBAKM®) as official registered trademarks of the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) in accordance with the provisions of the Trademark Act, CAP T13 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 through the Trademarks, Patents and Designs Registry, Commercial Law Department of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI) with File Numbers NG/TM/O/2021/40564, NG/TM/O/2021/40562 and NG/TM/O/2021/40563 respectively.

The Institute of Business Administraion and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) is an approved and accredited strategic partner of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Directorate Headquarters, Abuja, Nigeria. The approval was conveyed via a letter dated 9th August, 2021 with reference NYSC/DHQ/SAED/CLB/Y/VOL.VI/276.

GLOBAL PRESIDENTS

Dr. Wilson Fyffe, FIBAKM, FCBA, FCKM, an Australian-born, President & Founder of Amplios Consultants Pte Ltd as well as former President Director of KPMG International Consultants and former Managing Consultant, Coopers and Lybrand Australia/Indonesia, served as the Pioneer President whilst Amb. Dr. Gangadhar Joshi, FIBAKM, FCBA, FCKM, an Indian-born, Founder and CEO of Gangadhar Joshi & Associates as well as former President Director of reputed B-Schools in India and former Team Leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers in India and West Indies, currently serve as the Global President and Chair, International Advisory Council with Amb. Dr. Monday Anyairo, FIBAKM, FCBA, FCKM, CBAP®, CKMP®, a Nigerian-born and Founder, serving as the Global Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer as well as the Global Chairman of the IBAKM® Global Associations and Societies.

GLOBAL COMPANIONSHIP AWARD

The global Companion of the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (CIBAKM), the highest global membership award, was historically conferred on  Nigerian-born, Dr. David Olaniyi Oyedepo, CIBAKM, Presiding Bishop and Founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (a.k.a. Winners Chapel) as well as the Chancellor of Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria and Landmark University, Omuaran, Kwara State, Nigeria.  The award was conferred on him on the 9th of November, 2022 during the 3rd Annual International Conference on Business Administration and Knowledge Management (3AIC-BAKM®) held at the Covenant University Centre for Research, Innovation and Discovery (CUCRID) and African Leadership Development Centre (ALDC). Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria in collaboration with Eudoxia Research University, New Castle, USA and Eudoxia Research Centre, New Delhi, India.

GLOBAL AMBASSADOR AWARD

The Global Ambassador Award was conferred on Amb. Dr. Gangadhar Joshi, FIBAKM, FCBA, FCKM and Amb. Dr. Monday Anyairo, FIBAKM, FCBA, FCKM, CBAP®, CKMP® on the 9th of November, 2022 for their passion and commitment in the global advancement of the Business Administration and Knowledge Management professions and practices during the 3rd Annual International Conference on Business Administration and Knowledge Management (3AIC-BAKM®) held at the Covenant University Centre for Research, Innovation and Discovery (CUCRID) and African Leadership Development Centre (ALDC). Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria in collaboration with Eudoxia Research University, New Castle, USA and Eudoxia Research Centre, New Delhi, India.

CIBAKM® | Chartered Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management

The Chartered Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (CIBAKM®) is an approved and registered trademark of the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) established in accordance with the provisions of the Trademark Act, CAP T13 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 to promote the Chartered Certified Business Administrator (CBA®) and Chartered Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM®) professional certifications as well as the Chartered Certified Business Administration Practitioner (CBAP®), Chartered Certified Knowledge Management Practitioner (CKMP®), Certified Business Administration Practicing Organizations (CBAPO®) and Certified Knowledge Management Practicing Organizations (CKMPO®) professional public practice licences.

The Young Business Administrators and Knowledge Managers Competition (YBAKMC®) is a trademark of the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) strategically created to promote excellence and innovation amongst young BA and KM professionals and aspiring professionals.

ABAKMS® | Association of Business Administration and Knowledge Management Students

The Association of Business Administration and Knowledge Management Students (ABAKMS®) is the trademark of the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) and the Institute Students’ Forum strategically created for the mobilization of prospective students at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in recognized/accredited tertiary institutions studying towards a Business Administration, Knowledge Management and related disciplines academic qualifications, the National Youth Service (NYSC) Corps Members as well as candidates studying towards the Institute professional qualifications at the various Accredited Tuition Centres, Approved Learning Centres, Partners and Institutions.

IBAKM® Global Business School

The IBAKM® Global Business School is the strategic training arm of the Institute.  The mission of IBAKM® Global Business School is to bridge the knowledge gap in the study and practice of Business Administration and Knowledge Management and provide an innovative platform for expanding knowledge horizons through Combined Honours Programmes (CHP), Professional Diploma Programmes (PDP), Global Executive Education Programmes (GEEP), Creative and Innovative Enterprise Programmes (CIEP) and Continuing Professional Education and Development (CPED).

The IBAKM® Global Newsletter is a quarterly update on the Institute events, programmes and activities.

IBAKM® GLOBAL OBJECTIVES

To champion, promote, advance and regulate the art and science of Business Administration and Knowledge Management in all its aspects and ramifications.

To establish professional standards for the registration, membership, training, examination and certification of aspiring and practicing Business Administration and Knowledge Management professionals, practitioners and consultants.

To conduct examinations and other form of assessments for the award of the Institute’s Membership Qualifications and Professional Certifications in the grades of Companion-CIBAKM, Doctoral Fellow-Dr./FIBAKM, Fellow-FIBAKM/FCBA/FCKM, Full Member-MIBAKM/MCBA/MCKM, Associate-AIBAKM/ACBA/ACKM, Graduate-GIBAKM/Grad.BA/Grad.KM, Licentiate-LIBAKM/LMBA/LMKM and Affiliate-AfIBAKM/AfMBA/AfMKM.

To liaise, partner and collaborate with institutions, organizations, establishments, etc., both national and international, with a view to promoting ethical practices and professional standards in the Business Administration and Knowledge Management professions.

To contribute to policy formulation at all levels, both Local, State, National and International, for the sustainability of good governance, economic growth, industrial rejuvenation, etc.

To do all such other things as may be considered incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
