ASSOCIATION OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS®
A Global Association of IBAKM® and CIBAKM® Certified BA and KM Professionals covering Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America
The Association of Business Administration and Knowledge Management Professionals (ABAKMP®) is the global association for the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) and Chartered Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (CIBAKM®) certified Business Administration and Knowledge Management professionals with network of members across Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.
The primary objective of the ABAKMP® is to create a forum for networking, knowledge sharing, research and development amongst the IBAKM® and CIBAKM® certified BA and KM professionals as well as promote the objectives, membership qualifications, professional certifications, specialized certifications and proficiency diploma certifications of IBAKM® and CIBAKM® in its locality through meetings, trainings and conferences as approved and authorized by the Management and Board of Governors of the umbrella body, the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM® Global).
STRUCTURE OF THE ABAKMP®
The ABAKMP® is structured into REGIONS (Countries), BRANCHES (Countries Geopolitical or Geographical Zones), DISTRICTS (Countries States) and CHAPTERS (Local Government Areas) e.g. IBAKM®-ABAKMP® NIGERIA REGION PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY; IBAKM®-ABAKMP® SOUTH-WEST BRANCH, NIGERIA REGION; IBAKM®-ABAKMP® LAGOS STATE DISTRICT SOCIETY, SOUTH-WEST BRANCH and IBAKM®-ABAKMP® IKEJA CHAPTER, LAGOS STATE DISTRICT.
a) The IBAKM®-ABAKMP® Regional Post Holders shall consist of the following:
• Regional Coordinator (RC)
• Deputy Regional Coordinator (DRC)
• Regional Secretary (RS)
• Assistant Regional Secretary (ARS)
• Regional Treasurer (RT)
• Regional Financial Secretary (RFS)
• Regional Welfare Officer (RWO)
b) The IBAKM®-ABAKMP® Branch Post Holders shall consist of the following:
• Branch Coordinator (BC)
• Deputy Branch Coordinator (DBC)
• Branch Secretary (BS)
• Assistant Branch Secretary (ABS)
• Branch Treasurer (BT)
• Branch Financial Secretary (BFS)
• Branch Welfare Officer (BWO)
c) The IBAKM®-ABAKMP® District Post Holders shall consist of the following:
• District Coordinator (DC)
• Deputy District Coordinator (DDC)
• District Secretary (DS)
• Assistant District Secretary (ADS)
• District Treasurer (DT)
• District Financial Secretary (DFS)
• District Welfare Officer (DWO)
d) The IBAKM®-ABAKMP® Chapter Post Holders shall consist of the following:
• Chapter Coordinator (CC)
• Deputy Chapter Coordinator (DCC)
• Chapter Secretary (CS)
• Assistant Chapter Secretary (ACS)
• Chapter Treasurer (CT)
• Chapter Financial Secretary (CFS)
• Chapter Welfare Officer (CWO)
MEETINGS AND PROGRAMMES OF THE ABAKMP®
Annual National Conference on Business Administration and Knowledge Management (ANC-BAKM®) organized by the Regions.
National Summit on Business Administration and Knowledge Management Profession and Practice (NSBAKMPP®) organized by the Regions.
Annual Regional Conference on Business Administration and Knowledge Management (ARC-BAKM®) organized by the Branches.
Regional Summit on Business Administration and Knowledge Management Profession and Practice (RSBAKMPP®) organized by the Branches.
Professional Business Administrators and Knowledge Managers Roundtable, a half yearly programme organized by the Districts.
Professional Business Administrators and Knowledge Managers Forum, a quarterly meeting organized by the Chapters.
Mandatory Training Programme for the CIBAKM® Business Administration Certification Examinations (BACE) and Knowledge Management Certification Examinations (KMCE) organized by the Chapters in collaboration with the Districts.
Special Continuing Professional Education and Development (S-CPED) organized by the Chapters in collaboration with the Districts.
FUNDING, FINANCE AND BANK OPERATIONS OF THE ABAKMP®
Funding and Finance: The funding and financing of the Association of Business Administration and Knowledge Management Professionals (ABAKMP®) activities at the Regions, Branches, Districts and Chapters shall be from Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the Regions, Branches, Districts and Chapters within the approved scope of operation and must ultimately be with the authorization of the IBAKM® Board of Governors.
Bank Operations: The Association of Business Administration and Knowledge Management Professionals (ABAKMP®) Regions, Branches, Districts and Chapters shall be appropriately guided by the IBAKM® Management, Professional Societies Management Board and ultimately the Board of Governors with respect to bank operations.
GOVERNING BOARD AND AUTHORITY
All activities of the Association of Business Administration and Knowledge Management Professionals (ABAKMP®) at the Regions, Branches, Districts and Chapters shall be governed by the IBAKM® Board of Governors with the recommendations of the International Advisory Council, Management and the Professional Societies Management Board.
The Global President and Chair, International Advisory Council, Amb. Dr. Gangadhar Joshi, FIBAKM, FCBA, FCKM shall be the ABAKMP® Patron while the Global Executive Vice President and Chair, Academics and Professional Development Board, Amb. Dr. Monday Anyairo, FIBAKM, FCBA, FCKM, CBAP® and CKMP® shall be the ABAKMP® Global Chairman.
