Institute Of Business Administration Confers Fellowship On Olota

LAGOS – The Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM) has conferred a Fellowship award on Oba Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanlege, the Olota of Ota, Ado/Odo-Otain in recognition of his immense contributions to human development.
Speaking on the parameters used for the conferment of the institute’s Fellowship on the Olota, Amb. Dr. Monday Anyairo, the Global Executive Vice President of the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM) and the Chartered Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (CIBAKM) said he was chosen for his excellent leadership traits, proficiency in the field of academics, Communication Management, promotion of business and management development in his domain.
Dr. Anyairo on behalf of the institute announced the conferment of the award at his palace in Ogun, stressing that the award was not based on monetary return but a professional certification for those who had done well in their area of leadership and management.
He said, “The award was not an honorary but a professional certification conferring Oba Adeyemi with the authority to exhibit the knowledge of the profession at any point in time.
Anyairo explained that the traditional ruler has driven and promoted the virtues of business administration, knowledge management and managerial disposition in his domain.
“After looking through his profile, the institute discovered that Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege was one of the renowned traditional rulers passionate about preserving the cause of business administration and knowledge management.
“In addition, Olota of Ota had contributed to the institutional development and economic sustainability of the nation.
“The institute deemed it fit to bestow this Fellowship award on him because of his knowledge capacity and transformation of leadership which was evidenced since he took over the mantle of Olota of Ota,” he said.
Anyairo said that the institute licences members who are professionals with sound knowledge of how to manage and grow their businesses.
He said that the institute, with a core value for competence and quality assurance, commenced operation in 2013.
Anyairo also said they have branches across the country and its members were doing wonders across the five continents of the world.
In his response, Oba Abdulkabir Obalanlege thanked the institute and commended its leadership for the honour bestowed on him.
He enjoined IBAKM to continue to train and contribute positively to human development.
